Beyonce, Coldplay and Bruno Mars Slay Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show (Video)

After her surprise single and video drop on Saturday, Beyonce followed up the release of new song “Formation” with a spectacular performance at the Super Bowl 50 half time show.

Coldplay opened up with a crowd pleasing rendition of “Viva la Vida” and then into “Paradise” before playing their new track “Adventure of a Lifetime”. The band was joined by the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra at the eagerly anticipated event.

Bruno Mars then took over the reins with “Uptown Funk” which lead into Beyonce’s energetic performance of “Formation” that blended into a mashup of “Uptown Funk” and “Crazy in Love.”

Beyonce and her amazing team of dancers took over the field at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California during the game between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers.

It all ended with a blend of past Half Time show performances and images including Michael Jackson, U2, Prince, Katy Perry and Janet Jackson.

The 70,000 strong crowd got to participate by turning over cards which revealed multi-colored slogan, “Believe in Love.”

To kick off the game, Lady Gaga pulled out an amazing rendition of the National Anthem wearing a sparkling red pants suit and stars and stripes platform heels.

In the end Broncos took home the trophy with a 24-10 win against the Panthers.
