Lisa Lemole Oz is a force to be reckoned with. Not only is she a mom to four beautiful children, a recent grandmother, the wife of “America’s Doctor” (Dr. Oz), but she’s also an actress, writer, producer and entrepreneur!
Oz is the host and executive producer of “The Lisa Oz Show” on Veria Living Television, a leading media company devoted to showcasing healthy lifestyle and wellness programming and related content across multiple media platforms in the United States and beyond. “The Lisa Oz Show” empowers viewers to live well by establishing meaningful and personal relationships with their surroundings, their family, friends and themselves – a lifestyle Oz herself exemplifies. “I want my viewers to come away from watching my show feeling empowered and inspired,” she explains.
Oz is also the author of the New York Times bestselling series,“US: Transforming Ourselves and the Relationships that Matter Most.” In this narrative, she examines topics of family health, sex and relationships, and is the co-author of five of the New York Times best-selling series, “YOU: The Owner’s Manual: An insider’s guide to the body that will make you healthier and younger.” Oz also serves as editor-at-large of Dr. Oz, The Good Life, and Hearst magazine’s lifestyle publication.
I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Oz when she was honored in May at the National Organization of Italian American Women’s 2014 gala at the St. Regis in Manhattan.
