It’s handled! Scandal star Kerry Washington is on the move and has put her French country-style estate on the market.
The actress and her husband, retired NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha, only bought the property last year for $1.865 million.
But they are already selling up and have listed the sprawling compound for $2.695 million, making a nice short term profit.
Built in 1926, the home has 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, sweeping views of the hills including a peek at the Hollywood sign, and beautiful architecture.
Aside from the main building, the estate also includes chauffeur’s quarters and a guest house giving a total of 3,855 square-feet of living space.
With a sweeping spiral staircase, bright rooms with lots of natural light and great views at every turn, it’s not hard to see why the couple made this their home.
The living room is airy with large windows and white walls and there’s a perfectly placed fireplace to curl up next to while catching up with all the Shondaland shows, with a glass of red and a bowl of popcorn of course.
The new owners will also enjoy an outdoor swimming pool with a large adjoining deck, and a covered living area that has a fire pit and TV.
Washington and Asomugha still own a home the athlete purchased in 2010 in Manhattan Beach before they tied the knot.
The couple have been married for two-and-a-half years and and are parents to daughter Isabelle who was born in April 2014.
Stepping out of Olivia Pope’s shoes for a while, Kerry is set to play Anita Hill in next year’s HBO movie, “Confirmation.”
