Groundbreaking changes have recently transpired at The Montage in Beverly Hills. Food Network celebrity chef Geoffrey Zakarian — whose credits include iconic New York spots Le Cirque, ‘21’ Club, and The Plaza, to name a few — has expanded out West and taken over the hotel’s restaurant and bar-lounge, formerly occupied by another East Coast celebrity chef, Scott Conant.
The sophisticated Southern European ambience envelopes you the minute you enter through the Garden Bar at Georgie Restaurant and stroll through the dining room onto the picture-perfect patio spot overlooking the courtyard.
The giant open kitchen is still on display where you can watch Executive Chef Freddy Vargas (who was with the previous Italian-themed eatery) whipping up global fare.
And don’t worry, there is still spaghetti on the menu, but also a new private dining room that should be booked pretty solid for intimate gatherings and business functions this fall.
