If you win the big $1.5billion Powerball lotto then you’ll have more than enough cash to purchase the most expensive home in the country! And it’s not just any home, but the famous Playboy Mansion which is coming with a very special room mate.
The sprawling estate, which has hosted some of the most elaborate and exclusive parties in Hollywood history, has listed for $200million.
Playboy magnate Hugh Hefner plans to stay on at the estate for the rest of his days, even after the home sells, which will be part of the property’s sale agreement.
“The Playboy Mansion has been a creative center for Hef as his residence and workplace for the past 40 years, as it will continue to be if the property is sold,” said Scott Flanders, CEO of Playboy Enterprises.
The estate was purchased for $1 million in 1970 – reportedly the highest price paid for a home in LA at that time – and is set to break property records again.
The nearly 20,000-square-foot mansion, which sits on five acres in the Holmby Hills area, is the ultimate entertainment paradise, with a cave-like grotto that’s known around the world for the people who have partied in it. If only those walls could talk!
There’s also a catering kitchen, wine cellar, home theater, game house, gym, tennis court and pool.
The listing agent is Mauricio Umansky of The Agency – and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills of course!
