Hollywood talent manager and producer Steven Grossman and his wife Lisa were initially shattered when their older son Grayden was diagnosed with autism just over a year ago. But they pulled together as a family, along with their youngest boy Landon, and recently took part in Walk Now For Autism Speaks at the Rose Bowl to raise awareness for what is now the second most common children’s development disorder.
The Grossman family personally raised over $7,300 for the walk, and their team pulled in an impressive $650,000. They were also able to generate awareness for their cause by rallying the social media support of his clients and friends, including Naomi Campbell, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne and Nene Leakes.
Steven and Lisa are not only working to educate themselves on what’s best for Grayden but are also working with Autism Speaks, the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization dedicated to funding research, increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders and providing support to individuals with autism and their families.
